In the capacity of Facilities Operations and Safety Manager, Tarrigon Van Denburg provides leadership for facilities management and planning, safety issues and risk management for the College of Engineering (COE). In close coordination with the administration of COE, she is responsible for the oversight of projects in the maintenance, repair, construction and remodel for all COE buildings and facilities, the development and implementation of COE’s safety and risk management programs, and the management of COE’s physical assets. She advises the Dean and Executive Associate Dean of the College of Engineering on facilities and safety matters and works toward establishing college policy, facilities plans and priorities for the future growth of COE as well as serving as a COE liaison for related University external groups. Like all positions throughout COE, the Facilities Operations and Safety Manager supports and is an important component of the cohesive team of students, faculty and staff serving the mission of the College and University. Tarrigon joined Oregon State University in 2015. She has more than 16 years of experience in higher education and has held several roles in the areas of capital planning, facilities operations, college program coordination, administrative support, and extended education. She also has 3 years of landscape design studio experience as part of the design team for the award winning Orange County Great Park Master Plan project in Irvine, California.
