Hi there! My name is Chris Brakke, I’ve been serving as an Academic Advisor with MIME over the past several years. I am originally from northwestern Minnesota and I earned my bachelor’s degree from North Dakota State University. I also worked for a couple years advising adult graduate students at the University of Mary in Fargo, ND before moving to Oregon. Outside of advising, I am an avid half-marathon & marathon runner as well as a general health & fitness enthusiast. I really enjoy hiking, being outdoors, reading and learning new things. I am excited to work with students in exploring their passions, create solutions to overcome barriers and helping them discover how to get the most out of their college and life experiences.
