The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science invites applications for a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, fixed-term, Assistant Professor, Senior Research, position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the School Head.
The primary responsibilities of this position lie in performing research in 3D computer vision and robotic perception within the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. The position is responsible for grant proposal writing, managing external research funding, and performing research. The position will lead research as a PI or Co-PI on a variety of funded and un-funded research projects. The duties of this position support the mission and goals of the School, the College of Engineering (COE), and Oregon State University (OSU).

Activities include publishing research in peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, and other outlets, as appropriate; production of patents; writing proposals; conducting funded and unfunded research; presenting results at professional conferences, meetings, other institutions, and industry; and directing and mentoring Ph.D. and M.S. students in all aspects of research and professional development.
