The School of Civil and Construction Engineering invites applications for a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, fixed-term, Research Associate position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the School Head.
The Research Associate (RA) will support research in the School of Civil and Construction Engineering. They will assist the PI in developing research strategies. Direction and guidance are provided by the supervisor/project PI and other sources as needed. The Research Associate will work with the PI to develop computer models, conduct research experiments, perform data analysis, present research at scientific conferences and public outreach events; develop and assist with writing grant proposals; assist in the training of graduate students in thesis or dissertation preparation, research methods, and computational/mathematical methods; and collaborate with other members of the research group.
