Students with techbot

Develop your passion: Whether you come to the College of Engineering with expertise, or discover what you want when you get here, we give you the opportunity to do real, impactful work both inside and out of the classroom. Our students perform research alongside stellar faculty in world-class facilities. They travel internationally to create infrastructure for developing countries. They create their own companies, and build robots that are the best in the world. When they graduate, our students are ready to become leaders in their fields.

As a student at the OSU College of Engineering, you can expect to get a hands-on education with opportunities to gain real-life experience and work with your peers. The Formula SAE club, a multi-disciplinary student group, is just one example of students who are winning awards for their work and gaining life skills at the same time. Check out the Engineering Student Council which coordinates and supports the activivities of all engineering student organizations. You will find one that meets your interests.

Deciding where to go to college is a big life decision — which is why we encourage you to explore Beaver Nation by scheduling a visit. We offer College of Engineering tours Monday through Friday at 2 p.m starting October 1, 2018. Or, you can share a little about yourself so we can tailor our information to your unique interests and goals. We even have a page for Parents and Families who want to stay connected and help with your success.

The Academic and Student Affairs website and the recruitment booklet below offer more information specific to engineering.
