As the assistant director of career development, Erich provides a range of services to help support students. This work includes offering one-on-one appointments, workshops and customized class presentations, running the satellite career drop-in space in Johnson 124, and building on opportunities to scale the services offered by the central Career Development Center and make them accessible to all engineering students. He also collaborates with the central CDC and partners in COE to develop and deliver both course content for use by faculty and free-standing courses to further support students in their career progression.
Prior to joining the CDC and COE teams at OSU, Erich taught English as a Second Language in Bulgaria and Japan, and taught in and managed academically-focused ESL programs in Idaho and Oregon.
