
Chris Palmer is the associate director of marketing and communications. He is responsible for editing print and online publications for Oregon State University’s College of Engineering, including Momentum.
After graduating from Northern Arizona University with bachelor’s degrees in psychology and zoology, Chris earned a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of Texas, Austin. Following a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Diego, Chris left the research lab and completed a master’s level-certificate in science communication at the University of California, Santa Cruz. During his science-writing career, he has worked for three institutes at the National Institutes of Health (NCI, NINDS, and NIGMS) and written for more than two-dozen publications.
