Armand Resto-Spotts is the senior writer for executive and advancement communications. He is responsible for researching, drafting, and reviewing communications for the Kearney Dean of the College of Engineering. As a member of the marketing and communications group, he also provides communications support for marketing events, alumni and donor engagement, and other related philanthropy initiatives.
Armand’s professional background is in both communications and law. Prior to joining Oregon State, he practiced law for several years in both Washington and Oregon. As an undergraduate at Oregon State, he focused his studies in environmental sciences and writing. Armand’s prior editorial experience is wide-ranging, including prior work as a reporter and columnist, law journal author and editor, contributor to trade and business publications, and presenter in a variety of public and municipal settings. Coming from the Portland metro area, he is delighted to transition back to the Willamette Valley and the university setting.
