Extracurricular Opportunities

Companies and graduate schools are looking for students who have done more than just their schoolwork. Follow your passion and get involved in one of the many opportunities offered to you at Oregon State.

The best way to learn is by doing, and the School of EECS has options in research as well as leadership and hands-on experiences in industry or education.

A variety of student run organizations offer opportunities to build things as a team such as the OSU Robotics Club or learn new skills in clubs like the Linux Users Group.

Student chapters of national organizations such as IEEE and Engineers Without Borders provide excellent opportunities for networking on campus and beyond.

The MECOP Internship Program offers six-month internships with industries like Boeing, Garmin, Intel, McAfee, ON Semiconductor, Samaritan Health Services, and Tektronix.
