Registration is free, but you must pre-register by Jan. 10 to participate.

A few days prior to the event we will send you links to your Zoom "Student Sessions". Like our average workday, the Showcase will have you hopping from call to call.

The Student Sessions are technically 30 minutes long but we advise using 20-25 minutes for your meeting so you can get a small break between sessions. Breathe. Have some coffee. Etc.

You will likely have an OSU "host" in the session. They're the timekeeper.

You may have as many people as you like. We recommend one have a technical background.

This event is for Oregon State students pursuing their postbaccalaureate degree in computer science online through OSU Ecampus. These students already have a bachelor's degree and are taking a second bachelor's degree in computer science. Most are non-traditional students. (The average age is around 29.)

The OSU Ecampus computer science program is a postbaccalaureate program delivered 100% online by OSU Ecampus, a nationally ranked provider of online education. This 60-quarter credit program provides individuals interested in changing careers or advancing in their current field an opportunity to learn from world-class faculty who specialize in computer programming, software engineering, mobile and web development, and more.

  • Each company will give a 60-second pitch on their company to the students in the audience. (No slides.) Please share:
    • Your name and the name of your organization.
    • What your organization/makes does.
    • Where offices are located.
  • During the networking session, you will meet with small groups of students (both upper-division and lower division) meeting for 20-minute sessions. During those sessions, be prepared to share about your organization.
  • Your company is also welcome to meet with individual students after the event concludes.

Use the Student Sessions to share about your company and connect with the students. The groups tend to be smaller, so it's great to have an interactive discussion where you can begin to assess the talent.

A single slide with your company's basic info and a link to a career website can be helpful or skip the slide altogether. More than ever before, human interaction will likely have more impact than a slide.

Business casual

Our tentative schedule is here.

Please see our Virtual Booths page for details.

Employers can have a quick video. 30-second videos are super easy. Say your name, your organization, what kinds of roles you hire, and why your organization is fabulous. The video intro is helpful but not mandatory. Some employers opt for a video from their corporate offices. Those videos can be a little longer

You’ll receive calendar requests with your Zoom links to the individual sessions. Like our regular working day, this will mean hopping every ~30 minutes to the next call. The students who sign up will join you in the Zoom. All the Zooms are hosted by an OSU faculty/staff who can assist if you run into problems. You can have as many people on the call from your office as you like. While not mandated, Zoom permits cameras and chat
