FLIR Systems, the world leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of thermal imaging infrared cameras is seeking aManufacturing Engineering intern for Summer 2017 (June – September).

Responsibilities will include process development/documentation, production support, and new product development for all levels of our airborne gimbal products.  Focus will be primarily on creating automated PCBA tests but other projects and responsibilities include:

-      Design and implement automated tests for electromechanical sub-assemblies

-      Assess and improve PCBA tests for increased coverage and debug

-       Analyze and improve PCBA electrical failure analysis process and equipment

-      Assist in the launch of new products

Preferred qualifications:  Senior level Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering student.  Labview experience a plus.
