The Washkewicz College of Engineering continues to experience growth and expansion. Our student population has increased significantly over the last few years, and we are expanding our College into a new building by December 2017. We now have the need for additional faculty.
Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Positions Available:

The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Cleveland State University invites applications for one tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Computer Science. Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Positions:

1. Position Description: The successful candidate will be expected to develop a strong, externally funded research program,
supervise students, and actively participate in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Candidates in all areas of Computer Science will be considered, though the department is particularly interested in areas of Programming Languages, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Health Informatics, High-Performance Computing, and Mobile Computing. 1. Computer Science and Engineering Positions (2 positions) Description: Successful candidates are expected to
demonstrate a passion for teaching. The candidate will be expected to teach computer science and engineering courses. Candidates in all areas of Computer Science and Engineering will be considered, though the department is particularly interested in areas of Programming Languages, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Health Informatics, High- Performance Computing, and Mobile Computing.

Cleveland State University is searching for active, culturally and academically diverse faculty of the highest caliber. A 9-month contract will be offered at a competitive salary, commencing August 21, 2017. The salary for all positions is commensurate with background and experience. Start-up funds are available for the tenure-track Assistant Professor positions only.

The Washkewicz College of Engineering traces its roots back to 1923 as Fenn College and has since maintained its reputation for excellence in engineering education and research. The college was renamed in 2013 to Washkewicz College of Engineering in honor of the transformative gift from Donald and Pamela Washkewicz and the Parker Hannifin Foundation.
