Subject: Open Faculty Positions at The University of Iowa, Electrical and Computer Engineering

I am writing from the University of Iowa's College of Engineering to advertise two open tenure-track assistant professor positions in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. I've included a short advertisement below, as well as attached longer advertisements for each of the two open positions. Please share this information with your graduate students or other interested parties at your institution. Each document includes information about how and where to apply.

Electrical and Computer engineering. The University of Iowa invites applicants for two tenure-track assistant professor positions, one in the area of cyber-physical systems or Internet of Things and the other in augmented or virtual reality. A PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a closely related field is required. The successful candidate is expected to develop an externally funded internationally recognized research program and to contribute fully as a scholar through teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and through service to science and engineering. Detailed descriptions of the available position, candidate requirements, and application process can be found at: http://jobs.uiowa.edu/, under the faculty section, searching requisitions 69820 and 69821. Applications from women and minorities are especially encouraged. The University of Iowa is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply and will receive consideration for employment free from discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, religion, associational preference, status as a qualified individual with a disability, or status as a protected veteran.

Please let me know if you need any more information.
We appreciate your time and consideration!
Kind regards,
