 As a Junior Research Engineer in part of Autodesk's Product Development Group, you will work as part of a team, using research methodologies to ultimately provide the best experience to a wide range of customers. Role and Responsibility:

·        Researching and developing novel new capabilities and workflows to address diverse customer problems

·        Introduce creative approaches to research topics. Generate new approaches, perspectives and solutions to problems.

·        Plan and design research projects; specify the problem, and define the project scope.

·        Review relevant scientific literature to identify emerging methods or technologies and current best practices.

·        Leverage the team to execute research.

·        Develop and implement prototypes and programs to explore and evaluate concepts, which can serve as proof-of-concepts and demonstrations, and can be used to run evaluations and collect data.

·        Explore new prototyping frameworks, libraries and technologies.

·        Continually monitor research frontier and technology trends. Maintain a level of personal technical expertise and awareness of latest scientific research results through formal training and an ongoing program of individual study of the latest technical

·        Initiate relationships and collaborate with internal experts at Autodesk.

·        Participate in research collaborations with academic, customer or research institute partners.

Required Skills and Experience:

·        Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

·        Hands on experience developing software using Java, C++, C#

·        Experience with client / server development and REST

·        Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships

·        Flexibility and ability to respond quickly to multiple priorities

·        Effective written and verbal English communication skills
