Job Description
Engineering Intern - (15001544)

We're looking for inquisitive students who are eager to roll up their sleeves and make a difference, students who love to learn and are passionate about technology. As an engineering intern, you will be exposed to a variety of technologies and methodologies such as PeopleSoft and SalesForce reporting, Microsoft SharePoint and InfoPath forms and data, Microsoft Excel automation and charting, business reporting analysis, and business operations goals and metrics.

You will work on products that enhance the lives of individuals and businesses globally and you'll also work with teams of really smart people - together ARRIS engineers hold over 2,000 patents!"

You will join a technical training and content development team and use a broad range of tools and interface with many different organizations and locations. You will work with professional trainers, managers, global training teams, sales, and IT. Required:  You must be Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at minimum pursuing a degree in Computer Science with a graduation date on or after December 2016.
Minimum GPA Requirements: 3.2.
This is for a Summer Internship only.

Skills you need to succeed in this role:
-Understanding of relational and cloud databases
-Programming skills
-Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

The ideal candidate would have experience with/ knowledge of the following:
-XML, HTML, and related technologies
-Project management knowledge
-Relational database technologies
-Software development life cycle including design, development, and maintenance
-Cable MSO network architectures and functional understanding of products in MSO networks
-Strong Microsoft SharePoint, InfoPath, and Excel knowledge
