Autodesk Summer Internship Positions:

Autodesk, Inc is looking to immediately fill two summer internship positions for 10-12 week terms in their Portland, Oregon office. Autodesk (Autodesk<http://www.autodesk.com/> ) is a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software with a vision to help people imagine, design, and create a better world. Autodesk accelerates better design through an unparalleled depth of experience and a broad portfolio of software to give customers the power to solve their design, business, and environmental challenges. In addition to designers, architects, engineers, and media and entertainment professionals, Autodesk helps students, educators, and casual creators unlock their creative ideas through user-friendly applications.

As a summer intern in Autodesk's Product Development Group, you will work as part of the Strategy & Research team to develop software prototypes that demonstrate the use of existing and emerging technology to solve problems in design for a wide range of customers. Project topics focus on design intelligence and decision-making within a multi-disciplinary design collaboration environment. The aim of the various projects is to develop methods that will automate tasks within and between design and manufacturing. Some of the projects will include work within additive manufacturing and advanced materials. The student interns will work with the Autodesk technical team to define, design, implement, demonstrate, and present their work and results over the course of the internship. The internship will allow for the students to learn Autodesk software tools such as Fusion 360 (Fusion 360 Overview<http://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/overview>) and get experience developing within a cloud-based platform - Forge ( Forge Overview<http://forge.autodesk.com/platform/>) .

The ideal candidates will be students studying an engineering discipline or computer science - self-motivated with a passion for technology and the skills of programming to build software solutions. The Autodesk university internship program offers a fun, creative and rewarding experience where the students make connections that can last throughout their careers. Come join us for the summer!
