Subject: Exciting Engr Internship Opportunities at Boeing

Marlys,

Please share the information below with your Engineering team contacts. If folks are into innovation and new technologies, it doesn't get much better than this. Note that these opportunities are for this summer and that we occasionally shut down the requisitions early if the applicant numbers become excessive, which certainly may happen for these positions. I would let anyone interested know that they want to put their best foot/resume forward, but time is of the essence.

Thank you for your help!

Doug

Subject: REQUEST: University Exec Focal Role- Share Open Intern Requisition

Good Morning,
As executive focals for our strategic universities from which we actively recruit, I'd appreciate you passing along the following job requisitions to each respective university for intern engineering positions in 'Summer 2014' within the Product Development (PD) area of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. These requisitions are mainly for the Advanced Manufacturing department within the Innovation Center and Technology organization of PD, but we're also hiring for the Environmental organization of PD. The Advanced Manufacturing group concurrently supports design of new airplanes and leads development of the production systems and manufacturing technologies needed to build those airplanes at unprecedented production rates. We support or lead cross-functional teams that leverage the experience and resources across Boeing, our partners, and universities to accelerate the incorporation of new technologies into our products and production facilities.
The postings are open for 1 month and are located in Puget Sound, Washington.
Links to the two postings:

Please note the graduate student posting only lists that aspect in the 'other job related information' section- please encourage graduate students to apply specifically to this posting .

Note that the postings can only be accessed through the public site- since they are only posted externally (the links in this email should be through that external path).

Your help in communicating this opportunity to our future engineers is greatly appreciated.
Please contact me with any questions about these openings or this request.
Thank you.
