The Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science at the State University of New York at Binghamton seeks applications for the following tenure-track positions in the fall of 2014:
Assistant Professor of Computer Science- 4 positions
Three positions with specialization in Cyber security; one position with specialization in Embedded systems programming/design with emphasis on energy optimization; must have a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related discipline by the appointment date; strong evidence of research capabilities and commitment to teaching are essential.

Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering- 4 positions
Two positions with specialization in Cyber security, with highest priority for applicants in network security, information hiding, cryptography and/or hardware-based security and two positions with specialization in Power/energy systems, with an emphasis on hybrid drives, thin film solar cells, and/or smart grid (including security aspects); must have PhD in electrical or computer engineering or closely related field, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to teaching and research.
