The CGRB seeks a student to assist with the development of business applications, including web ordering systems, and other tasks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, debugging, developing, and documenting modules in an object-oriented web ordering system. In addition, the hired student will interface with users to determine the current needs and future direction of the project.

Required skills include experience with PHP, SQL, XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Experience with other technologies, including MVC frameworks, patterns (e.g., Post/Redirect/Get (PRG)), other languages (Python, Perl, Java, shell, regular expressions), the Linux command line, and Drupal are preferred. Additional support tasks will include Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux desktop and server system administration (https://shell.cgrb.oregonstate.edu/).

The ideal candidate will work full-time during the summer and up to 20 hours per week during the school year. Students in their Freshman and Sophomore years are encouraged to apply.
