Validation Engineer - 707534

Job Description: Come join Intel's Platform Validation Engineering (PVE) organization. In this position, the selected candidate will develop and execute electrical validation plans to verify health of CPUs designs; Analyze results to quantify robustness of bus designs; Provide tuning recommendations for BIOS, and investigate issues with circuit design and BIOS as they become evident.

 You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have an BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- At the BS level only, must have the unrestricted right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship
- Minimum of 3 months experience with software/programming languages (i.e. C, C++, C#, Visual Basic/.NET. Perl, Python, Java, etc.)
- Minimum of 3 months experience with basic PC architecture
- Minimum of 3 months experience with transmission line theory
- Minimum of 3 months experience with operating systems
- Minimum of 3 months experience with debug
- Minimum of 3 months experience with hardware and software interaction
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 months experience with statistics
- Minimum of 3 months experience with circuit analysis
- Minimum of 3 months experience with circuit design
