The 13th annual OSU Engineering Expo, happening on Friday, May 18, 2012, promises another mind-boggling display of undergraduate engineering talent.
This year's Senior Design Showcase features more than 100 student-built projects from across the disciplines: Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering; Civil & Construction Engineering; Electrical Engineering & Computer Science; Mechanical, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering; and Nuclear Engineering & Radiation Health Physics. For a special exhibit of clean technology and green energy solutions, be sure to check out the Expo’s Sustainability Showcase.
And the fun doesn't stop there! This year's Robo*Palooza includes the TekBot® Triathlon, an award-winning Mars rover, and FIRST robots from local high schools. Other inspiring engineering innovations will also be on display. And to complete this year’s Expo experience, be sure to tour the O.H. Hinsdale Wave Lab!
We think it's a fun learning opportunity for high school students who are considering a career in engineering or are just interested in science and technology. If you and your students plan to join us as a group, please call the College of Engineering at 541.737.3101 to reserve a time.
If you're an OSU student, faculty, or staff, consider volunteering for the Expo. Sign up to work for two hours and get a free t-shirt.
